"I've always wanted to build a gabion wall, and recently decided to redesign my front yard in order to level it off for a raised bed vegetable garden. My yard is a combination of succulents and tropicals, and all are grouped by hydrozones to reduce water use. In the summer, I water the yard once a week by hand. Our new vegetable garden is kicking-butt with salad greens, cucumbers, zucchinis, tomatoes, and more."
